Note: After creating a new contact, you can set up custom ringtones. This means that only custom ringtones are allowed during editing contact.
General steps to set a custom ringtone for Android contacts,
Go to Contacts → Tap the contact that you want to assign a specific ringtone → → Edit Tap → Find a Ringtone Option → Ringtone.
Below are the steps to set up custom ringtone in Android operating system version 6 and below:
Step 1: Go to first contact and select the contacts that you want to set up custom ringtones. Tap Edit more contact.
Step 2: Then tap on the three points at the top right corner.
Step 3: Click on set ringtone option.
Step 4: Select the ringtone. And press OK.
